STEP I

Auro Wallet is a versatile tool available as both a browser extension and a mobile application, offering support in multiple languages. Fully open source and designed to seamlessly integrate with the Mina Protocol, Auro Wallet allows you to effortlessly transfer and stake your MINA tokens, track transaction records anytime, and even supports zkApp transactions for enhanced functionality.

Now let’s move on to how you can create your Auro Wallet wallet step by step.

Step 1: Head over to Auro Wallet’s official website and choose the version of the wallet you want to download. For this guide, we’ll be installing Auro Wallet in the Chrome browser. Simply click on the Chrome tab to be redirected to the Chrome Web Store.

STEP II

On the Chrome Web Store page, click the “Add to Chrome” button to download and install Auro Wallet.

STEP III

Congratulations! Auro Wallet is now installed on your browser. Open the extension and click on the “Create Wallet” option to get started. Make sure to review and accept the terms of use. If you already have a Mina wallet, you can easily reload it by selecting “Restore Wallet” instead.

STEP IV

When you click “Create Wallet,” you’ll be prompted to set a strong password. Next, you’ll receive an important warning to securely write down your recovery words. These words are crucial for accessing your wallet. Remember, if you lose them, you lose access to your funds forever. It’s your responsibility to keep them safe and private!

STEP V

Write down your 12-word recovery phrase in a safe and secure location, keeping the order intact. This phrase allows you to access your wallet on other devices. Do not share your recovery phrase with anyone under any circumstances. In the next step, you’ll need to enter your recovery words in the correct sequence for verification. Once completed, click “Next” to proceed.
